Hera and ChinChin's Story...

Meet Hera and Chin Chin!  If you are looking for a pair of exceptional kitties please consider these two sisters.  Hera did lose her sight as a young kitten but she does not let that stop her.  In fact, her lack of sight has turned her into one of the most interesting kitties because her other senses seem to have become stronger.  She can follow the faintest sounds and navigate furniture with such keen sense it is awe inspiring to watch.  Her sister Chin Chin will win your heart as well.  I have no doubt. I know this because I am their foster mom.  I have fostered many many animals in my fifteen years of rescue and while I love them all I have to say that these two kitties have found a special place in my heart.

If you are reading this then I want to encourage you to come meet these girls.  Whoever is lucky enough to adopt them will have so much joy with them.

To meet them Hera and Chin Chin email julia@adogsliferescue.org or call 310-344-7366.

Note: For this posting I have selected a series showing Hera and Chin Chin playing with a new scratch toy but if you would like to see more photos I am happy to email you more directly.  I have a lot because they are so much fun to photograph.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hera and ChinChin, a los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
