Ashton's Story...
Ashton-Schnauzer/Terrier male puppy

Ashton is just a young pup, about 4 mo. old, we estimate, found in a high kill rural shelter
right after the new year. What a way to start of the new year, young, afraid and you life in
danger! But Ashton is okay, he's a sweet survivor, now living in a foster home with lots
of attention and love. He's going to be a medium sized adult, at best. Lots of energy and
love to offer. His adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical expenses of getting ready
for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashton, a Germantown Schnauzer (Standard)/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
