I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Sport is your typical puppy. He is a sweet, playful guy full of energy and could benefit with some basic training. Sport would also make a great exercise partner. This little guy prefers to be next to his family, he likes to sit on their lap and would prefer to snuggle in bed or on the couch with them. He is exceptionally gentle and affectionate with everyone he meets, but Sport is especially cares for the two children he shares his home with.
Sport also loves his canine foster sister, but she is a little shy. He is good with dogs and is not bothered by cats. However, Sport is not too fond of sharing his food with other dogs and would prefer to enjoy his meals on his own, but doesn’t mind if his people pet him or put their hands in his food bowl while he is eating. Sport would also prefer a playmate dog his own size. Sport is looking for his Forever Home where he will get basic training and exercise that will aid him to create a special bond and friendship between him and his human. We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We work with foster homes to help find homes for pets in need. We coordinate with other shelters and rescue groups to help spread the word about homeless pets on a regular basis. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed in order to provide a "happy ending" for everyone! We operate a volunteer-run thrift store in Breckenridge, Colorado to help fund our operations so we can help as many pets as possible. "For Pets' Sake" is located at 203 N. We ask potential adopters to fill out our adoption application form on our website online, or we can email one directly. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we arrange to do a quick home visit. Once the home visit has been approved, an adoption agreement needs to be filled out online at www.animalrescueoftherockies.org
