Dulce's Story...
Dulce needs a home URGENT A volunteer writes: Dulce means sweet in Spanish and this little girl is so appropriately named. She is as sweet as can be. She is absolutely gorgeous in her beautifully groomed tan coat with matching amber eyes. She sits on command and when she sits she does so very regally, head held high and elegantly. Dulce appears to be housetrained, going as soon as we were out the door. Her tail wags in friendship to all and she is super alert taking in her new surroundings. Dulce is a snuggler, coming to sit between my legs when I sat on the park bench, leaning in close with her head on my lap. From time to time she would place her upper body on my lap, coming in to snuggle even closer. Dulce seems to like other dogs, making friends with a couple we passed in the park. Dulce did not mind being tethered to the fence for photos, donning a pretty neckband to enhance her beauty. She has a one ear up and one ear folded over thing and it just makes her look more unique and special. She is one gorgeous girl. Dulce is waiting to meet her new BFF and begin her happily ever after. DULCE is being spayed tomorrow, has all her shots and is mircrochipped. She was cold, wet and shivering and wearing a collar with the name DULCE on it. No other tags, no microchip. It was reported that she had been out there for at least 3 hours. A kind PEP officer took her to get dry and food and water, but sadly there was no place for her to go except the city pound.
