Phoenix's Info...
| Breed: | Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever Mix | Color: | Merle | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Male | ID#: | 5320722 |
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Phoenix was first found as a stray when he was a 3 month old puppy. He got adopted out and has been living with kids and 2 little Doxis. He was doing great for awhile, but like the Catahoula breed has become very over protective of his family and is no longer able to stay with them. He is now 11 months old and is a wonderfully energetic boy with a lot of love to give. He is very smart and loves to stay busy. He is wonderful in his kennel and goes in right when you tell him to. He has to patrol the yard every night before he settles down to bed. He loves going for walks and has to check out everything and everyone on the way. We have started some harder training with him and he is responding well to it. He would best fit in a home with just a couple people who are active and willing to work with him. He has a wonderful personallity and loves finding fun. He is potty trained and no longer in puppy destruction mode so he is able to stay out of his kennel more often. If you have a big yard and a big heart who understands the needs of this breed please call Jen #623-210-6578.

Rescue Group Info...
Little Rascals Rescue is a foster based 501c3 non profit animal rescue founded on the belief that a few caring people can make a difference in many animals lives. In Maricopa county alone 900 animals are euthanized a week. That number is way too high and through the effort of rescue groups like ourselves we believe we can make an impact on the lives of the many animals being euthanized daily. We live by the mantra 1 adopted and 2 saved, meaning every time someone adopts an animal from us we go pick up another off the euthanasia list, so thats 2 lives you save by adopting one animal. Our group is dedicated to saving the animals other rescue groups just can't save, mainly the medical and behavioral cases. That doesn't mean we won't have plenty of highly adoptable animals also.
Adoption day every Sunday at Petco I17 & Happy Valley 2501 W. Happy Valley from 11am-6pm. We always have dogs, cats and lots of kittens to meet. Come out and see who's personality suits your family best. Or visit our website at www.littlerascalsrescue.com for animals, stories, pictures, up coming events or just to see whats new.
