Gidget--Toy Aussie's Info...
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Gidget is a 3 year old Toy Aussie weighing only 12 pounds! She is the smallest dog we’ve had in our rescue yet, but she’s only small in size and definitely not small in personality. Gidget is a red tricolor Toy Aussie and unlike some Toys, her features are proportionately correct and she looks very much like a full sized Aussie….in a teeny little package. She is a little on the shy side and will bark at new dogs at first, as you will see in her video, but she is very friendly and gets along with all of the dogs here, large and small. She doesn’t even bother with the cats. Gidget is crate trained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and she is housetrained and will go to the door and let you know when she needs outside. She plays with toys, but she especially loves bones and chews and will put them all in a neat little pile and then trot circles around them, “herding” them. It’s adorable. Gidget is content to just hang out in the house with you, either curled up on a rug (after she does her cute little 5 circle routine before laying down) or up in your lap. She has been vaccinated and microchipped, spayed, is current on heartworm and flea preventative, and is on slow-kill treatment for heartworms. All this requires is a monthly preventative as usual, and antibiotics every 3 months for a year and the antibiotics are provided by our rescue group to the adopter. Gidget is sweet, funny little girl and is available for a $275 tax-deductible adoption donation to a home that will promise to spoil her like she deserves.
