Sunny (dog friendly)'s Story...
Sunny arrived in our care along with her newborn kittens this past October. From the start, she was a wonderful mom eventhough she was underweight and battling an upper respiratory infection (which eventually took it's toll on half of her kittens who didn't survive). Now done with her mothering duties, she remains a very sweet, personable & gentle girl. Sunny has a calm, quieter personality & is very loving and purry. She has a beauty mark on her lower lip which only adds to her charm! We don't know how she'd do with other adult cats (or dogs) but think she'd be purr-fectly happy as the center of your attention and is sure to brighten up your day!

Rescue Group Info...
About Our Rescue Group...
We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our cats are in private foster homes; therefore, we require an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them; an application can be e-mailed, faxed or mailed upon request. Adopters must be within a reasonible driving distance to No. VA as we do not ship our animals; we participate in an adoption event held in Wash. DC most Sundays in conjunction with other rescuers. Please e-mail us for specifics.

Our Adoption Process...
We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter); home visits are required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home.
