Pepper's Story...
Pepper came to us here through the good people at Paws To Give, they received a call about 2 dogs running the neighborhood and together we went into action. They were both picked-up after talking with a handful of local neighbors about the situation. It appears that the "owner" of these dogs no longer wanted to care for them and they were turned out to fend for themselves. Some of the neighbors cared for them, but none were able to provide a permanent home for either of them. So now they reside with us here until we can find a forever home for each of them. Pepper is right at 50 pounds and has been fully vetted and spayed and on monthly heart worm prevention. She is more than ready for a family to call her own. She gets along good with other dogs and is pretty laid back. We call her a young adult dog, fully grown but a whole life ahead of her. Would you consider sharing your's with her? If you are interested you can call us at 931-698-0303 or email woofwoof324@gmail.com. An adoption fee of $125 is required which helps us rescue another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Columbia Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
