Meet Lacie, a sweet girl who was left at a shelter when she became pregnant. T.A.R.A. came to the rescue and saved her and her beautiful litter of puppies. All of Lacie's babies have been adopted, so now it's time for Lacie to find her forever home too!
Lacie is a very sweet young Boxer mix. She loves to play and adores being around people! She can be picky about what dogs she likes but when she finds a friend, she’s very playful. She would rather chase cats than play with them, so she’d prefer to live in a feline-free house. Lacie would do best with adults or families with older children because she’s still young and can get very excited when it’s time to play or go for a walk.

Adoption Fee: $150.00
TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial .
Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.

The first step to adopt any of our animals is to fill out the online application. This is normally followed up with a meeting for you and the animal and a home visit. Adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
We serve the Greater Kansas City Metro area on both the Missouri and Kansas sides of the state line. We evaluate out of town applications on an individual basis.
