My name is Cyrus. I am a 1 year old husky mix and I weigh 44#. I came to Suncoast with my sister Miley and now we are trying to find our forever home. I am housebroken and enjoy walks or a fenced in yard to run around in. I have lots of energy and LOVE to play so be sure you have the time for me. I mainly lived in a adult home but I had exposure to kids and they were fun. I know all of the basic commands, enjoy getting bathed and going for car rides. I like other dogs but no cats please. I am a talker and if you are familiar with the breed you know what I mean. I'm trying to talk to you of course! I do need to be on a grain free diet because I have allergies but that is managable as long as I am on the right food. I hope to see you soon for a visit and maybe a new home.

About Our Shelter...
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.

We are open to the public for adoptions (or just come to visit the animals) as follows:
Tuesday - Friday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Adoptions stop @ 4:30 PM)
Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (adoptions stop @ 3:30 PM)
