Jessica is not immediately trusting, so it takes some time for her to really show her sweet side. Once she does, she is a wonderful little lady. You will never know a more loyal pet than Jessica once she bonds with you, but it will take the several day 'getting to know you' period for her to adapt. She would be great for a home without a lot of new people coming and going and where someone is home with her a lot. Like many Chiweenies, Jessica is easily intimidated by larger dogs or dogs who are too 'alpha'. She needs a patient adopter who knows that she is well worth working with! No children, please.
