Noel's Story...
Noel can be a little hard to get to know and would do better in an all adult house hold as quick movements startle her easily. She would be a great lap companion for a senior as all she wants is to sit on your lap and snuggle. She loves hanging out here and has a group of dogs, both large and small she lives with. She is on what we call here "house privilege", a dog must be house trained and be able to use a dog door as well as get along with the other 15 or so dogs that also have the privilege (including our own dogs). This helps us really evaluate the temperament of a dog the best and she is a doll. She wants to snuggle on your lap at night while watching TV and would love to be a bed buddy. She is about 10 pounds (could stand to lose 1), and the vet guessed her to be about 3 years old. She is fully vetted and spayed and on monthly heart worm preventative, she is definitely ready for a lap and a home to call her own. If you are interested in Noel please call us at 931-698-0303 or email to make an appointment to meet her. An adoption fee of $75 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Columbia Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
