Blackie's Story...
Blackie's story was a sad one but we are hoping for a new bright start in life for him.. His elderly owner was evicted from him trailer in Stafford and had to leave his lap kitty behind. Blackie is a 2-yr old long hair beauty. His fur underneath is a stunning auburn color. Blackie is never upright---he loves to roll over and be upside down to be pet.

Blackie is very healthy and was originally neutered as a kitten by Shadow Cats. He is now up to date as well on all vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been dewormed. Blackie requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside. Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising event? Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees vary based on the veterinary care the cat has received prior to adoption. We will do a vet check to make sure the pet(s) you have currently or previously in your home have received adequate and yearly veterinary visits. A lifetime care contract and home visit are part of the adoption process.
