Blackie's Story...
Blackie's story was a sad one but we are hoping for a new bright start in life for him.. His elderly owner was evicted from him trailer in Stafford and had to leave his lap kitty behind. Blackie is a 2-yr old long hair beauty. His fur underneath is a stunning auburn color. Blackie is never upright---he loves to roll over and be upside down to be pet.

Blackie is very healthy and was originally neutered as a kitten by Shadow Cats. He is now up to date as well on all vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been dewormed. Blackie requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside. If you would like to find out more about adopting this handsome, sweet boy, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email shadowcatadvocates@comcast.net. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackie, a Stafford Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
