Ella - Puppy!'s Story...
Hello puppy! Ella is a six-month-old female black lab cross who is being spayed and getting her shots, deworm, and deflea today (Jan 15). She is very friendly and good with cats, kids, and dogs. Ella missed out on some early training, so will need to catch up on housetraining, obedience, and continued socialization. Just look at that face! Ella will give unconditional labby love (and kisses) for a lifetime. Labs are a medium-large to large breed. They have lots of working/walking/playing energy outside, but are generally lazy bums inside the house.

If you've got the time and dedication to guide and teach a puppy, please go to our website at and complete an application under the "Adoptions" section and email it to

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella - Puppy!, a Emsdale (Huntsville) Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Emsdale (Huntsville), or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Emsdale (Huntsville).

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emsdale (Huntsville) already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emsdale (Huntsville) breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emsdale (Huntsville) paves the way for another one to be saved.
