Keegan's Info...
| Breed: | German Shepherd Dog | Color: | Black | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Male |
This handsome boy is Keegan and boy does he have a story to tell! After the death of his beloved owner, Keegan was shuffled from home to home until one cold winter night. Due do unknown reasons he was left tied to our shelter fence not knowing what his future would hold. This made the shelter his 10th home. Keegan was very scared and unsure of who he could trust anymore. After a brief stay in the shelter he was placed into a foster home, where he currently resides with other dogs.
It was brought to our attention that Keegan does not always do well with other male dogs, but he does fine with his female room mates. He does know his basic commands and is housetrained. He also does have quite the fascination with water and enjoys car rides!
Keegan seems to bond more closely with females than males. He will need an experienced owner as he does need to learn his boundaries in a home. He is very protective of his property and his person. With that he would do best in a home with older or no children.
If you have knowledge of his breed and are looking for a companion to spend your days with, Keegan may be the guy you have been looking for!
Because Keegan is in a foster home, an approved application will need to be completed before setting up a time to meet with him. Our application can be found on our website at www.muskegonhumanesociety.org or here at the shelter, 2640 Marquette Ave. Muskegon, MI 49442.
