Tobi and Rico are 2 cute Chihuahua/Beagle mixes that were found running as strays. We thought at first they were brothers, but Rico is definitely a little older so we are going with father and son. Rico is about 4 years old and Tobi is about 2 ½ years old. They obviously have known each other for awhile and are very bonded together. We have tried 1 in each room many times and they just cry for each other. They will sometimes get a little worked up when playing and get a bit rough but always end up beside each other again. They don’t do great playing with other dogs off a leash. They get a bit too excited and then Rico will defend his son Tobi and it turns serious. They would be best as the only dogs and would not do well with cats because the Beagle in them gives them that prey drive. They love to run after the birds. These boys are doing great with potty training and only still mark on their favorite spots outside in the backyard. Tobi has to pee on everything that Rico has. These 2 are just the super sweetest boys and are a bunch of fun. They would be great for older non crawling kids and would make great family pets. They hate being kept out in the backyard longer than they want and will try to dig out of chain link fences. Block walls stop them, but horse fencing wouldn’t and they love to explore. They are great walking buddies when its cooler out and there is always the fun car rides in the summer to look forward to. All of our dogs are spay/neutered, up to date on shots and microchiped. For adoptions every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday at Petsmart Desert Ridge 21001 North Tatum from Noon-4. Choice Pet Market every Saturday and Sunday from 11-4pm on 67th Ave/101 Freeway (Next to Aj's Fine Foods) We also have pets for adoption the 2nd Saturday of the month at Starbucks on 39th Ave/Pinnacle Peak from 8-noon.

Little Rascals Rescue is a foster based 501c3 non profit animal rescue founded on the belief that a few caring people can make a difference in many animals lives. In Maricopa county alone 900 animals are euthanized a week. That number is way too high and through the effort of rescue groups like ourselves we believe we can make an impact on the lives of the many animals being euthanized daily. We live by the mantra 1 adopted and 2 saved, meaning every time someone adopts an animal from us we go pick up another off the euthanasia list, so thats 2 lives you save by adopting one animal. Our group is dedicated to saving the animals other rescue groups just can't save, mainly the medical and behavioral cases. That doesn't mean we won't have plenty of highly adoptable animals also.
Adoption day every Sunday at Petco I17 & Happy Valley 2501 W. Happy Valley from 11am-6pm. We always have dogs, cats and lots of kittens to meet. Find the animal you like, well its time to meet them. Call the contact number on the bottom of the bio. Set up a meeting time and place, and see if the personality of the cat or the dog fits into your family. To adopt a animal you need to fill out our application. After we take a look at that its just a contract taking ownership of the animal. We have a 10 day full refund trial period to make sure your new family member fits with the whole family. After the 10 days, we will always take back the animal if you are no longer able to care for them for any reason.
