Harvey's Story...
Harvey was found/rescued as a stray in a rural type area. He was first sighted on Thanksgiving day and caught about a week later. He is now neutered, doing well with his litterbox and may be a good bonding candidate. He is a little shy but time, patience and trust will bring out the goof in him! We estimate Harvey to be an Easter bunny, so about 10 months old or so. If interested in adopting him, please visit www.sweetbinks.org for our adoption policies and online adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Foster New Zealand was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a New Zealand for sale in Foster, or seeking a New Zealand from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even New Zealand breeders who help with New Zealand rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
