Onyx's Story...
Onyx and Elvis are sweet boys- and it would be great if they could be adopted together. They may be shy at first with people, but once they warm up to you they are very loving and playful, and can be lap cats. They love to climb and play with the Turboscratcher. They like other cats and do very well with their foster mom’s dog, and they are very motivated by treats. They did really well getting a bath and brushed. They will absolutely need scratching pads and a kitty condo. They are not afraid of the vacuum. As long as they are not given too much space all at once and given time to adjust they will make wonderful companions.Elvis is a black and white male and Onyx is an all black male. They are about 4-5 months old, neutered, up to date on shots, and FelV neg. Please call Forgotten Felines : 610-760-9009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a Germansville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germansville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Germansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
