Bella's Story...
This beautiful, sweet girl needs a foster or forever home. Her name is Bella and she's about 4-5 years-old, up-to-date on shots, fixed, microchipped, and is absolutely wonderful with other dogs, kids, people (currently lives with two young kids). She is a dream dog. She is available for adoption OR foster through Bedford Humane Society. Because her current mom has some serious health issues, she needs a foster (or adoptive) home ASAP. She is an inside dog and is house-trained and her new home (foster or adoptive) will need to have a fenced-in yard or electric fence- Bella loves to chase the deer (who can blame her). Bella would love an active home that will take her on hikes or she would LOVE to be your jogging partner. If you know anyone who is looking for the world's perfect dog, please share Bella with her and have them contact The Bedford Humane Society, Inc. Please Share Bella so she can find a perfect, wonderful home that deserves all of her specialness and so her family can focus on their medical challenges. Thanks! Feel free to contact her foster mom for any additional questions or if you’d like to meet Miss Bella.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Bedford Foxhound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/Beagle for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Foxhound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/Beagle breeders who help with Foxhound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
