Ivy URGENT's Story...
Please meet sweet Ivy! She is approximately 5 yrs old and may be the mom of Joy, 10 months old and posted too.

Ivy is a very sweet girl, a bit quiet and good with people and dogs. She will truly blossom in a great home or foster as she is confused in the shelter, then a kennel and really will settle in well once in a home.

These locations can be very noisy and hard for dogs to feel at home.

She is a sweet retriever/chow mix as our best guess. She is a darling girl and medium in size.
Very beautiful.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations range from $150-$250. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy URGENT, a San Diego Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
