Simba's Story...
Hi everyone!! My name is Simba and I'm a 16 month old neutered and microchipped male. I was adopted by a kind woman from a vet's office where I was in a cage looking for someone to adopt me. Unfortunately, it turned out that I am not good with other cats and my new mommy had three prior to adopting me. She even hired a behavioralist to help me try to adjust to living with other animals but everything they tried sadly didn't work. My new mommy is devasted in having to give me up but she knows that it is the best for everyone involved including me as I am having to be kept in a separate room. When there are no other aimals around to stress me out, I am a very affectionate and playful guy! I am a typical boy that will cuddle and purr for a while but then want to play. I purr so loudly that I can be heard through the door to my room. I love scratching posts and playing with anything crinkly that makes a noise. My playing does include using my claws and some gentle biting so a home without younger children would probably be best. As I am not good with any animals, a home without a dog is also a must. If you would like to adopt me, please fill out an adoption application for me or if you have any questions at all about me, please don't hesitate to email KittyJunction@aol.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Horsham Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Horsham, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Horsham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horsham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horsham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horsham paves the way for another one to be saved.
