**ADOPT-A-THON WEEKEND! This weekend only, you can meet Nakiya at the Petsmart stores in Mantua and Turnersville! Nakiya will be visiting Petsmart in Mantua on Saturday, February 23 and she will be visiting the Petsmart in Turnersville on Sunday, February 24, both days from 11am-4pm. Petsmart in Mantua is located at: 637 Woodbury Glassboro Road, Sewell, NJ 08080 and the Petsmart in Turnersville is located at: 5857 Route 42, Turnersville, NJ 08012 (next to Kohls)**
Nakiya is a 1-2 year old girl who just loves to be near you. She is a big cuddly teddy bear that loves to be petted and loved. Nakiya knows her commands, listens well and has the happiest tail around, it is always wagging. She is a big girl, very muscular, a real beauty. Nakiya will make a wonderful addition to your family, all she wants is a family that will love her. Please come see her soon.

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost,stray,unwanted or abandoned pets for 24 municipalities until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner,or adopted by a new owner.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick,injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.We also have an offsite adoption centers at the PetSmart stores located in Mantua & Turnersville which house over 20 cats for adoption.We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core and work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes.Once adopted they are delivered to one of our veterinarians to be spayed and neutered prior to going into their new home to insure that the animal cannot reproduce and at this time we are at 100% compliance.
Gloucester County Animal Shelter at 1200 N Delsea Dr. Clayton New Jersey 08312 Adoption Hours are Monday and Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm Tuesday,Wednesdays,and Thursday 12:00pm-7:00pm We are open Saturday to view the animals from 12-4. We are closed on Sundays.
