Charlie's Story...
Charlie is a 7-8 year old male Chihuahua mix; about 10 lbs. Charlie loves to play as you can tell. He also loves to go for walks when he is with his person. He is very faithful and does not have to be attached to your side. Charlie does enjoy the quiet evenings watching TV while by your side, and he does like to be in his bed when you need some time to yourself. Charlie does have his own bed but also like to sleep with us in our bed. He is a fun all-around dog to have around the house and gets along with other dogs. His owner had a cat so he gets along with cats. Charlie is not a barker and would make a perfect dog for someone living in an apartment or a condo setting. I have been working on few basic commands stay, sit pretty and come. Charlie is housebroken; crate trained and does well on a leash. Charlie has been neutered and is current on all his shots. Adoption fee is $200. Contact foster mom Dee in Grand Coulee, WA at for more information. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website; .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
