Snow's Story...
Hi there! My name is SNOW and I am a young Maine Coon cat. They named me Snow because 1) I am a lovely white kitty and 2) I was named after the wonderful person who helped save me. I love everyone... dogs, other cats, kids... everyone! I am a sweet, mellow cat who would love a family of my own! Could it be you???

I am also declawed so I will need to be an indoor cat.

My adoption fee of $65.00 includes up-to-date shots, neuter, deworming, and microchip. If you're interested in me, please go to to fill out an application. Once the application is complete, you may either email to or mail it to Kentucky SAVE, PO Box 517, Lexington, KY 40588. Please call 859-621-1472 with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for stopping by to see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snow, a Lexington Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
