Chase LOVES DOGS and CATS!'s Story...
Woof - my name is Chase. I am a SUPER SUPER SWEET 7 year old Neutered Male Yellow (or light Tan) Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix. I weigh 56 lbs and I am a Calm, Loving, Sweet, Serene, Easy-Going, Gentle, Loving boy. I am being fostered in a home in Pasadena with 2 other dogs (both are big black labs) and I have some cousin dogs who come over to play (both are chihuahuas). I get along great with all of the dogs! I am also living in my foster home with 3 cats and I get along great with them too. And I am great with rabbits! I am housetrained/potty-trained. I am also crate trained and great in my crate. I am just a chill, sweet boy. I walk FABULOUSLY on a leash! I was rescued in the brink of time from the North Central LA City shelter by my rescue (Labs and Friends.org). I had been abandoned at the shelter by my owners after 7 years since they no longer wanted a dog and I sat in the scary shelter for 2 months. My rescue knew me and like me and could not believe with my stunning good looks that I had not been adopted. Lucky me, here I am now, I am loving being back in a home. I am a calm boy and I would love a calm chill home. I'm too grown up for all of that rough-house puppy play and I think too chill for a home with lots of young kids, but otherwise any quiet loving home would be a wonderful match for Chase.
If you are interested in meeting me or adopting me, please email my rescue at carolee@labsandfriends.org for an application for me or any of my other dog friends - or you can also go to www.labsandfriends.org and download the application there as well. You can email the application in or fax it to 818-351-8148 no cover sheet needed. Please make sure to write CHASE at the top of your application. Thanks for rescuing! Woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase LOVES DOGS and CATS!, a Burbank Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
