Novice's Story...
Novice is an adult Brown tabby Maine Coon mix male. He is a very friendly guy and is always the first one to the food bowl. He is quite the one to talk to you as you are cleaning or putting food in the bowls. He will rub up against your legs or your shoulders as you are working in the cat room. He will be right there if you sit down to have his attention and cuddles. He likes the other cats and just ignores the dogs, but he is one that needs to have his coat brushed to keep his long coat beautiful and not matted. He is a beauty and a great friend to his foster mom and dad and would be a great addition to a forever loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Novice, a Seattle Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
