Ruff Ruff! My name is Nalah

MUST LOVE HUGS! Nalah is a 10 – 12 month old Chi mix that will love you like no other. Poor little Nalah was found as a stray running around Wendell, ID when Fuzzy Pawz Rescue heard this cute little one was going to have to spend the night in an outdoor kennel we scooped her up and placed her in a warm, loving foster home.

One of Nalah’s favorite things to do is to give you hugs. She is content to sit in your lap for hours and just give you hugs and occasional kisses. Although Nalah is a big lover she is still a puppy and does have periods of high energy so it would be best if she was in a home with another dog to play with. Nalah’s foster home has two small dogs and Nalah loves to romp with them and then when she tires she will come snuggle with you. Nalah will need proper items to chew on such as dog toys and rawhide chews, this will keep her from chewing on everything else she can get her mouth on.

Nalah is crate trained and quickly learned how to use a doggy door, she just wants to please and is motivated by praise and treats. Nalah would love to sleep on the bed with you but will sleep in her indoor kennel if needed. She weighs 16 lbs so will need an indoor home, if you cannot provide an indoor home please do not apply. Nalah loves everyone regardless of age and would best be suited in a home with kids over 5 years due to her energy level. Nalah is curious of cats but has never chased the one in her foster home. She loves to wear her new jacket to go outside and is learning to walk with a leash and making great progress, she will walk with you but is still a bit timid. Nalah rides well in a car; she will lie in the seat beside you and rest. While Nalah is not considered a “barker” she will bark to alert you if someone comes to the house and on occasion she will bark if you ignore her too long, but just a quick bark to remind you that she is there and would love to give you a hug.

If you looked Nalah up in the dictionary it would say that she is a spunky, loving, little girl that will melt your heart if given the chance.
