Neska's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID

Neska is an eleven-year-old spayed female Cocker Spaniel. She was adopted by a couple in 2007 from a local shelter. The couple has since had a child and it turns out the Neska does NOT like little kids so Fuzzy Pawz has been asked to help find her a home with no kids.

She does well in a family without other pets or young children. She will bark when people come over but will settle down after a few minutes. When the family first got Neska she was scared of men, but this no longer appears to be an issue, she might be a bit shy with them at first but warms up quickly.

Neska is house trained and for the most part is able to follow commands such as sit and stay, unless she is excited. She usually just sits around the house but does enjoy going on for walks.

If you can give Neska child free, dog free, probably cat free home and have lots of love to give please consider Neska. She deserves a family to live out her golden years with. We hope to find her a good home with someone who does not have young children around and who can give her the love and attention she deserves.

Neska is current on all vaccinations, spayed and does not have any health issues. Cocker Spaniels can easily live up to 15 or more years so please don’t let her age scare you.

If you feel you can give Neska the loving home environment she requires please fill out an adoption application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

There is a $25 adoption fee for Neska, she does qualify for our Senior for Seniors Program.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Neska, a Boise Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Boise, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
