"Xena" is going to make one lucky person or family tremendously happy! She is turning out to be one of the favorites at the shelter, with her playful, yet laid back and obedient attitude. She is very respectful and seems to have spent lots of time with people. She gets along with other dogs, however, she can be dominant, so she will probably do best in a home without any other dominant dogs. This should by no means hinder your opinion about her because she is a star! She is sure to brighten your day... and your life:)

Here at the Caroline County Humane Society, our mission is to provide proper care for each animal that comes through our door, while utilizing every tool possible in order to place these animals in wonderful, forever homes. We are also dedicated to educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering ALL pets, in order to decrease the over-population and increase the quality of life.
We welcome potential adopters to view our animals 7 days per week!
Dog adoption fee: $95
Cat adoption fee: $0
Adoption contracts are required and all adoptions are completed upon contract approval. For renters, landlord approval is required. We strive to make our adoption process friendly, while assuring that each of our animals goes to a good home!
We will accommodate long distance adoptions anywhere in the country, provided all criteria is met!
