Pam URGENT's Story...
Charlene, sweet Pam! At least she has a bed now but we would like to get that awful shelter tag off of her neck. She is not a number to us but a darling 3 yr old little chihuahua girl, very sweet.

This little bundle found herself in a high kill shelter to no fault of her own and we are grateful to have rescued her.

She likes other dogs, is a cuddler, and a bit tentative at first. She will soon get over that as soon as she comes to know and love you too!

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations range from $150-$250. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pam URGENT, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
