Haley's Story...
Hello there, my name is Haley: official greeter, shopkeeper, and office manager of Happily Ever After's Green Bay Adoption Center! You might be curious about my resume: HEA took me in as a young lady in May, 2007 when I was found homeless and pregnant in Green Bay, WI. All of my babies were happy and healthy and found their forever homes! I stayed back at HEA's Marion facility to help them manage the rest of the cats until February, 2012, when I was brought to Green Bay to help them manage the Adoption Center! You may have seen me in one of my many appearances in the newspaper or on TV...I'm a bit of a local celebrity, but I try not to let it go to my head. As much as I know they need me here at HEA to help sit on the photocopier and sort out paperwork, my real dream is to find a forever home of my very own. The only thing that I really need to be happy is a cozy bed by a window so I can soak up the sunshine, and a nice person to tell me how pretty and lovely I am every once in a while! It would be especially terrific if I was the only kitty in the house so that I could have all of the love and attention to myself. I would even be willing to continue my duties as office manager and help you out with your paperwork at home from time to time, if you'd like! I sure hope you stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! Just tell the nice volunteers that you're there for a meeting with Haley the office manager...I'll probably be napping in my favorite bed, on my favorite shelf, by my favorite lamp, just waiting for you to come find me! Love, Haley

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haley, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
