This gorgeous grin belongs to Precious, an 11-month-old pit/pointer mix that we recently pulled off of the kill list. She's full of wiggly energy and loads of kisses. She's about 45 pounds (full grown) and happy as a clam in a foster home in Brooklyn. Please email dimitra.socialtees@gmail.com if you're interested in adopting her!

About Our Rescue Group...
Social Tees Animal Rescue (S.T.A.R.) is a non-profit, strictly no-kill 501c3 organization that takes abandoned animals from the kill shelters and provides them with a safe haven and veterinary care until they are placed in a proper home.

We rescue, rehabilitate and place over 3000 dogs, cats, birds and reptiles per year.

All dogs and cats for adoption are spayed/neutered, tested, vaccinated, de-wormed, de-flead, de-mited, microchipped and more. Plus, discounted vet care for all adopted animals.

We also run a special program for underdogs and undercats. We house feral cats and take on as many amputees, blind, and injured animals as possible before they are euthanized.

Our Adoption Process...
To adopt a pet you must fill out an application in person and qualify. There is no application fee, but there is a small adoption fee.
