Grady's Story...
Grady is a handsome 12 week old silver tabby. He was rescued from behind the Target on rt. 17. The kittens that get born here are at risk of being caught by the fox that lives there, too. Shadow Cats always finds one kitten that has survived and this time Grady is the lucky kitty. He is a sweetheart who loves attention and loves to play. Will you be the family who gives him a safe, loving, forever home?

Grady has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, and is up to date with all his shots. Grady requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

If you would like to find out more about adopting this delightful cat, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email shadowcatadvocates@comcast.net. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a Stafford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
