My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is a sweet beagle/bassett boy looking for a comfy place to lounge. Duncan likes to sleep in a dog bed in the living room at his foster home. He doesn't even try to get on the furniture I'm not sure if it's because his legs are so short or he isn't interested.

His favorite thing to do is sniff. He will spend hours outside sniffing everything. He won't even come back in the house. Sometimes foster mom has to trick him to get him in the house. When sniffing is complete he will just sit in the yard watching the world go by.

Duncan is doing very well with his house training. When he first came here he liked to mark his territory. Now he seems to be learning to potty outside with everyone else. Foster mom doesn't trust him with run of the house, but as long as she watches him, and lets him out regularly, he hasn't had any accidents in awhile

Duncan gets along with all the other dogs in the house and seems fairly laid back. He lives with a couple of cats and doesn't bother them either. He likes to play with his foster sister, Buttercup, a 4 month old pup. They wrestle and run all around the house. He hears a squeaky toy and it makes him perk up his ears, but he doesn't seem to play with them.

Duncan does not like going in his crate but he will sleep all night long without any accidents. Food is not a big interest of Duncan's. He is a slow eater and treats are not worth getting up for. He doesn't bother foster mom when she eats either.
