Bella Boo's Story...
Are you looking for a pet that will act like she's always lived with you? Then Bella may be your girl :)

She's the perfect size - only 35 pounds - and is crate trained, house trained, sits for treats and walks well on a leash. She's been enjoying getting to lounge on dog beds and lay on the couch with the other dogs and sometimes even people - lol! We had some severe storms come through and Bella's foster Mum said that they didn't seem to bother her at all - she was contentedly sleeping in her kennel.

Are the family she's been waiting for? If so, please contact Ms Mary at arkanpaws@yahoo.com for more information or an application :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella Boo, a Somers Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Somers, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Somers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somers paves the way for another one to be saved.
