Nigel's Story...
HI – my name is Nigel and aren’t I handsome? I am a little guy of almost 4 months old, who has had all the shots that I can have at my age. I pay rapt attention to my foster mom who says that I am extremely smart for my age.

I weigh about 25# , ride very well in car, and sleep thru the night. I learned how to use the doggy door all by myself and of course had to show off to my sisters how to use it. I am almost housetrained and am learning a little obedience along the way… I catch on really fast..

I like all the dogs at my foster mom’s house and they like me too. We play and have fun – My foster mom’s four legged cousins were over and we had a great time together.

Anyway, I hear my sisters calling me to come out and play so why don’t you call my Aunt Cyndi about me? Are you my new mommy and daddy? I am ready… so call her

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nigel, a Pacific Grove Dalmatian/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/Border Collie for sale in Pacific Grove, or seeking a Dalmatian/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Pacific Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pacific Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pacific Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/Border Collie breeders who help with Dalmatian/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pacific Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
