WATCH HIS ADORABLE VIDEO PLAYING WITH TOYS! SUCH A HAPPY GUY!

Ferguson is a 10 pound, male Shih Tzu/Terrier mix (or Maltese/Terrier mix) rescued from Animal Friends of the Valley Shelter in Wildomar. He is just under a year old. He is a low to no shedding dog and may even be HYPOALLERGENIC. He is a great dog for a family with kids and/or others dogs. Ferguson loves everyone, and he especially looks forward to his play time! He absolutely loves to play with his toys, especially his ball. He is living in a foster home with two cats and does not bother either of them. He loves all of the dogs in the home, big and small, and enjoys their company. He is house broken (though potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment). So far he is doing pretty well with this task. He is great on a leash, loves to go on walks, and is OK in the car if someone is able to hold him (if not, he can be transported in his crate). Ferguson is a wonderful little guy who will make a great family pet!

Ferguson is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Ferguson, please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com. The phone number to the rescue is: 626-340-9316. There is no need to phone the rescue until you have first submitted an interest via e-mail. Please visit my website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com and go to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process; thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ferguson - I'm good with kids!, a Bellflower Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
