Fred's Story...
Meet Fred….or at least that's what we've been calling him. Fred was hit by a truck in front of our house the week before Christmas. After being taken to the vet, we discovered that he had a shattered pelvis. He took medication for a while, and has since recovered. He has had his immunizations and has been neutered. He has been a very welcome addition to our family, but we already have two other dogs. He needs a loving home. He is very friendly, loves to play with toys, and is especially good with kids. Our kids love Fred and love to play with him. He can be a runner, however. If the door is open he will take advantage of it and run! We haven't had him long enough to try change this behavior. He is cute, loveable, friendly, loves other dogs, and would be a great addition to any family! Come take him for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on weekends 12-4:30 and see if he is a match for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Humble Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Humble, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
