Ginny Pup's Story...
Some really nice people found me and my brothers and sisters underneath a barn, scared and cold. But, now I am having a blast, getting into mischief with my brother Harry (They keep referring to us as the "Harry Potter Pups". I am about 8 weeks old, golden retriever mix. I am healthy, bouncy and all things puppy. I am staying at a foster home with other canine friends and 2-legged friends! My family needs to have another dog in the house to show me the ropes and my mom or dad needs to be either a work at home or stay at home person so I can continue my training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginny Pup, a Danbury Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
