George's Story...
George was found by his foster family running on a San Diego freeway. He was hit by a car but miraculously wasn't injured.

George was dirty, covered with fleas and burrs, and his fur was completely overgrown. He had bad ear infections which have all been treated and George now looks great. He has been neutered and is almost completely housebroken.

George is a sweetheart. He loves people and other dogs. He gets along great with cats, children and even chickens. He loves to go for walks and likes to play with his toys. He's an extremely quiet dog who never barks. He's not high energy and sleeps a lot, but when you offer to play with him he gets really excited. George is the happiest dog on Earth and has a lot of love to give. He loves to cuddle, chase balls and play with his stuffed toys.

He's a tiny boy - weighs only eight pounds and is about three to five years old.

George is being fostered in San Diego (City Heights).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Vista Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
