Peanut2 aka Nut belongs to a family in McCaysville, GA and we are assisting this family with finding her a new forever home. This was posted on 1/17/13. McCaysville is 2 hours north of Atlanta on the TN border.
Peanut2 aka Nut is a wonderful sweet female brindle pitbull that is 2.5 years old (Estimated DOB is 5/4/2011). She is a brown and black brindle with white patches on her chest and feet. She has short hair and weighs about 50 pounds. She was originally found as a stray when she was a tiny pup during a 4th of July celebration in 2011 in McCaysville, GA. This family found her and took her in. The family members have some serious medical problems and are unable to care for her any longer. To prevent her from going to Fannin County Animal Control, where she would for sure be put to sleep we are assisting with finding her a new home!
She is crate trained and housetrained. She is great with other dogs and currently lives with a small rat terrier who is 12 pounds. Nut will chase cats so it is not recommended that she go to a home with cats. She has not been around small children, just teenagers. She would probably do fine with children and we recommend age 10+ due to her energy level. Nut thinks she is a small dog too and she will jump up into your lap for some love. She has so much energy. She loves having her belly rubbed and loves to give kisses. She is a great dog! She has big golden-colored eyes that will melt your heart. We need to find her a forever home with loving people.
Nut is spayed, current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $100.00 which will go to Friends to the Forlorn. If you are interested in adopting Nut please complete an online adoption form at www.savingpitbulls.org. Please indicate that you are interested in “Peanut2 aka Nut.” A home visit is required prior to adoption. Transportation is available for the perfect home. Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue Inc. of Dallas, GA is assisting with this adoption. If you have any further questions please contact Holly at 678-939-6981 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
More information about Husky Pack Rescue
Rescue Group Info...
Husky Pack Rescue is an applied for non for profit (501c3) volunteer organization. It was formed to help Siberian Huskies and Siberian Husky Mixes that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered. Although everyone involved with HPR has a love for this particular breed and we are all proud Husky mom's and dad’s, we are not breed specific. We have a love for all dogs and we do rescue and foster all breeds. So if a Siberian Husky is not the dog that is right for your family, please check out our Adoptable dog page anyway. We may have exactly what you are looking for!
Our goal is to place Siberians in loving homes and to educate people about the characteristics of this wonderful, yet often misunderstood breed. But it is also to find loving homes for every dog that calls HPR their temporary home. The only way that we can accomplish these goals is with the help from the amazing volunteers that give their time with transporting and adoption events, open their homes for fostering or open their wallets for donations.
These are all the adoptable dogs that we currently have housed at HPR. All dogs have their own unique personalities, quirks and some times special needs. So it is best to call us directly if you are interested in one of our babies. We can then explain the dog you are interested in completely and you can make an informed decision about adoption.
Our adoption fee is $300 and this will cover their spay/neuter, all their shots, heart worm testing, first round of flea medication & heart worm preventative and a micro chip.
