Lincoln's Story...
Lincoln is a Golden Retriever - American Eskimo Dog mix, the best of both breeds, and the best little dog! He is full grown and about 24lbs, loving and playful. Lincoln loves to give kisses! Lincoln does well on leash, rides OK in the car, and loves to run around in a fenced yard. He LOVES Frisbee too! :) Lincoln gets along with other dogs, cats, and may enjoy having a playmate. Lincoln is a good candidate for a training & obedience class so he can learn some manners too, he jumps up on people for attention and kisses! Note: Lincoln is not fond of crates, nor being confined.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lincoln, a Elmhurst Golden Retriever/American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a Golden Retriever/American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
