My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JAZZ Female German Shepherd DOB July 2011 Contact: fudgiesmom2@aol.com

JAZZ is approximatelg 18 month old. She looks like a pure bred GSD but is small at about 51 pounds currently. Found as a stray and very malnourished she has recovered remarkably well and steadily gained weight and should not get any bigger than 60 lbs. So if you are interested in a small German Shepherd she is the dog for you. Jazz is very friendly to both people and other dogs but thinks that cats are for chasing and so should not be in a home with them. She is also very energetic and needs an owner who will walk or run her every day and who has an active lifestyle or another high energy dog to play with. She would enjoy a dog park as she is very sociable or maybe even agility. She enjoys being outside chasing the squirrels so she needs a secure yard but is very much an inside dog who wants to be with her people. This is a smart, wonderful dog so if you are interested in adopting or maybe even fostering her please email her current foster mom at fudgiesmom2@aol.com.

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day. Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
