Myra!'s Story...
Myra is a 2 year old tiny Puggle / Terrier mix, that was rescued by a police officer after she was discovered to be residing alone in an abandoned house in Detroit. We received a call for help when he noticed that she was an expecting Mama...her 8 beautiful, healthy babies were born on New Years Day! Despite all that she has been through, she is an EXTREMELY happy and loving girl! She is a wonderful Mom and is very proud of the little miracles she has created. She stopped nursing her pups on 01-25-13, they are now all in foster homes. Myra is being fostered with 3 other dogs, 3 cats and a toddler....she is enjoying all the attention she can get from them. Myra LOVES to play(lol with anything)! She enjoys running around the house with her stuffed animal (that is bigger than her tiny head) and whatever she can find for tug of war falls victim to the war. I don't think there is a toy Myra doesn't like. She plays well with her foster friends & doesn't mind sharing the toys. She only barks when no one wants to play but will go solo and entertain herself with no problem. Myra likes everyone she meets and will always shower you with kisses. She is very loyal and food motivated so teaching her new things will come easy. Myra is working on potty training and slowing down on the lead. She has a good amount of energy and these cold winter days don't make it pleasant to play outside much. Myra knows commands like; sit, come and leave it. She will do whatever you want for a cookie :). Myra is spayed, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. If interested in Myra please fill out an application at http://www.misfitangelsrescue.org/applications.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myra!, a Warren Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Warren, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
