Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I’m Tanisha. For the record, my name is pronounced “Tan-EE-sha.” I’m gorgeous—just like my name. Isn’t it fun to say? I’m so pretty that some folks at MaxFund think I have some Persian or Siamese in me. I have a glorious black coat that would be great for brushing. Did you know that in Scotland black cats are believed to bring prosperity? Anyway, I sure would look good lounging around your home.
I came to MaxFund in 2012, after I was found as a stray. I got along well with my siblings and love to cozy up to other MaxFund kitties in the cat tower cubbies and in the sunshine. I bet I’d be great with another cat. I was born in 2011 so I still have a lot of playful energy and a long life ahead of me. I’m a bit shy, but at least we have a lot of time to get to know each other! Because I was a stray, I don’t really know what all these people around here are up to. Are they nice? Will they like me? Are humans good friends? I’ve been told that they are, but I’d love to get to know some really well. That’s probably why I like to buddy up with these other kitties.
I may play hard to get—which is adorable, right?—but once we get to know each other I’ll be the best friend you’ve ever had! Try some treats, bits of cat food, toys, and kind words so that I learn to trust you. In fact, I bet we’ll fall in love with each other! I’m a great investment and will be very loyal once I get to my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you!
