Rose's Story...
Brrrr! It has been a cold winter for us, good thing we were lucky enough to have all this fluff to keep us warm! It might be a little high maintenance, but you won’t believe how soft it is! You should come see for yourself. Put our fuzzy to the test and you won’t be disappointed! Oh, did we mention that we are throwing in our cute free of charge! All we are asking for is love, dedication, training and guidance. That should be a pretty fair exchange, and look at all the adorable, cuddle time, and puppy licks you get! Is your heart feeling a little drafty? Maybe one of my sisters or I could warm it up! 9 weeks old-9lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes; microchip, reduced cost spay/rebate, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Portland Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
