Calvin's Story...
Calvin Beagle/Aussie x Male 1 year old

Calvin found himself in a high kill shelter recently. His family didn't want him and he was very afraid. the rescue saw how sweet he was and took him and now he is looking for his new family. Calvin needs to learn he can trust again but that shouldn't be hard for the right family to teach him. He loves people.

Calvin's adoption fee is $250 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Germantown Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Shepherd for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
