Bink's Story...

Hello! My name is Bink and I am a great guy! I know I’m only 7 or 8 months old, but if you’re looking a forever buddy, I’m the man for the job! I really like playing rope, being silly with other dogs, and sitting handsomely for some treats. And cats are okay I guess even though they’re kind of weird creatures. I just leave them be.

My foster parents say I’m lucky because I’m a “rescue dog” now. You see, I used to live in Flint where my first owners cropped my ears. Ouch! Luckily I don’t remember any of that. The only reminder of my past is my funny ears which my foster mom says give me character. Whatever that means! Anyway, I was roaming the streets one day when this nice couple found me and took me in from the cold. They tried to find my owner but no one claimed me. (That’s okay, I didn’t want to go back anyway.) They really wanted to keep me but were afraid that their pet, a huge 5 foot iguana, would like me better as lunch than as a brother. Yikes! So instead of taking me to the pound they called my foster mom who came to see me and fell in love with my handsome face. There were some tears but the couple that found me knew I was going to make a wonderful, loving pet for my perfect forever family.

I guess that’s where you come in! My foster home is fun but I would really love to be adopted and find a forever home. If you’re thinking about making me a member of your family you can email my mom at katharinehadam@gmail.com and she can answer any questions!

I'll be at Petsmart in Brighton this Saturday if you would like to meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bink, a Howell American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Howell, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
