Angie's Story...
Angie is a 7 year old sweetie with a heart of gold. This little lady is a lap dog extraordinaire, she loves to sit on laps or any place nearby. Nothing scares this little lady, she's tough as stones. She played tug-of-war with a lab and won, but don't let her competitive side fool you, she is sweet to all her friends and will give kissed to anyone within range (labs and humans are not exempt). Angie can't see very well, but she can make her way through any home once and knows it like the back of her hand. She isn't able to hear, but put your hand in front of her face and her tail will wag like crazy, she instantly knows her friends are home to play. She has only be in her foster home for a few days, but already she found the toy box and won tug-of-war with a lab, go Angie! Nothing stops this independent lady. Angie likes walks outside, being loved, and the occasional game of tug-of-war (obviously). She will melt you heart. Angie is heart worm negative and had her vaccinations. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angie, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
