Emmy-lu's Story...
WATCH MY VIDEO! Emmy-lu is a 1 year old, female Terrier/Norfolk Terrier mix. She weighs 9 lbs and is full grown. Emmy was rescued from the Moreno Valley animal shelter. We couldn’t help but notice this sweet dog with the beautiful cream puff coat.

The best way to describe Emmy-lu is “sweet natured”. She is very loving with people and is gentle and submissive. A happy ,friendly girl who is easy to be around. She is excellent in the car and will sit quietly in her little doggie car seat while she takes in all the sights and sounds. She seems so happy and proud to be someone’s little companion. She also loves to go for walks! Her house manners are wonderful and she is housebroken. Emmy-lu is a quiet dog. She does not bark unless there is a good reason such as a doorbell ringing. She is also fine to be left alone for those times when she cannot be with her owner.

Emmy-lu gets along with other dogs both big and small and will politely invite them to play with her. She would make a great dog park girl! Emmy is versatile in that she would be great in a home with another canine friend or equally great as an only dog with a family who wants to include her in their life/activities. She is small but sturdy which makes her an excellent size for families with children.

Emmy-lu is spayed, micro-chipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on her vaccinations. About Our Rescue Group...
Please visit our website at http://www.treasuredtailsrescue.com/

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.

FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.

Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.

An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Norfolk Terrier for sale in Temecula, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Norfolk Terrier dog from a breeder in Temecula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Temecula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Temecula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
